Last updated October 7, 2026. Short version: the app keeps your data on your Mac, and this website keeps only what it needs to deliver your license.

The app

Your groups, contacts, messages and history are stored on your Mac, encrypted, in your user Library folder. Bullhorn Text has no account and no cloud, and it doesn't send your contacts or messages to me or anyone else. It talks to the Messages and Contacts apps on your Mac, and checks your license key on your Mac without contacting a server. If you use Get Help, you choose to email me a short summary (counts and versions only, never names, numbers or message text).

This website

When you buy, Stripe collects your payment details, email, and billing address; I never see your card number. I keep your email address and order number so I can send your license key, resend it if you lose it, and handle refunds. Your key is emailed through Resend. This site uses no ads and no tracking cookies.

Your choices

Email hello@bullhorntext.com to see or delete what I hold about you. Deleting it means I can't resend your key later.
